To celebrate the Kumul Petroleum PNG Barramundis historic participation in the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup hosted in the UAE and Oman starting Sunday October 17, Cricket PNG, with the support of the PNGAus Partnership, is hosting the first Village Cricket T10 World Cup 2021 this weekend at Amini Park, after initially postponing it due to Covid Lockdown Measures. We are thankful that we have received confirmation that we can continue to play cricket at Amini Park while maintaining compliance with the lockdown measures.
The tournament will be held strictly in accordance with the Lockdown Measures, including that at no time will there be 20 or more people on the field, all participants must have been vaccinated, and no spectators will be present. The matches played on the main Amini Park Oval will be live streamed on www.cricketpng.org.pg.
