The South Australian Cricket Association are delighted to announce family owned Bleasdale Vineyards as the Official Wine Partner of SACA and the Adelaide Strikers.

First established in South Australia in 1850, Bleasdale have a proud 180-year history in the state that aligns perfectly with SACA as we celebrate our 150th anniversary this summer. In celebration of this milestone, Bleasdale will be releasing a commemorative Shiraz and Tawny, with SACA Members to enjoy pre-sale access to the uniquely crafted releases.

Leigh Warren, Bleasdale General Manager, is thrilled to confirm the new partnership.

‘The alignment with the SACA is a great opportunity for Bleasdale and an opportunity to highlight our award-winning Langhorne Creek & Adelaide Hills wines, including having the exclusive pouring rights at all of the official SACA functions.

‘We’re committed to a long and successful partnership with the SACA, and I am particularly looking forward to attending the cricket this summer and enjoying a glass or two of Bleasdale.’

This exciting partnership follows a period of sustained success for Bleasdale, having been awarded a number of prestigious awards in recent years including the 2019 Jimmy Watson Trophy, the 2018 Max Schubert Trophy, and winemaker Paul Hotker being named 2018 James Halliday Winemaker of the Year.

SACA Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Sweet is equally pleased with the announcement.

‘Between SACA and Bleasdale, we have 330 years of experience within the South Australian community and we look forward to many more together.

‘It is always a pleasure to partner with such a prestigious, local company, and to have the award-winning Bleasdale on board is absolutely fantastic. We know that our Members and fans will love the opportunity to enjoy Bleasdale wines at our many events throughout the South Australian summer.’

Bleasdale will have exclusive pouring rights for the upcoming Test Match Dinner at Adelaide Oval, as well as taking the mantle as exclusive hospitality wine partner for the imminent Big Bash League’s eleventh season.
