    Reporting to the Head of Government Relations and Infrastructure, in this role you will develop an overarching infrastructure framework for Australian Cricket and coordinate resources to deliver against this vision. This role is big on stakeholder engagement and you will collaborate closely with Cricket Australia departments, State and Territory Associations, venue managers government partners and the broader cricket community.

    About the role

    We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering world class cricket facilities.
    Specifically, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing a national infrastructure framework and implementation plans to ensure that Australian Cricket is providing high quality cricket facilities
  • Developing and implementing best practice infrastructure portfolio and program management methodologies, systems and processes
  • Driving the framework and current major developments for International Cricket and W/BBL Venues, aligned with community, high performance and match venue strategies
  • Collaborating with the Australian Cricket Government Relations team to source government funding for priority community, high performance and stadia projects
  • Consultation with Governments, regional planning authorities and other sports
  • Providing strategic advice and support on design solutions, procedures and technical issues, plus preparation of necessary reports to a broad audience
  • Ensuring future trends in the industry are captured within the national framework

    About you

    To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • Experience working on major projects and facilities developments, within the sports industry or in other sectors
  • Experience at a senior level with infrastructure and financial responsibility as a cost or profit centre manager
  • Demonstrated experience in the leadership, development and management of staff
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage and evaluate contractual documentation
  • Experience in change management, resource management and risk mitigation
  • Contemporary knowledge of statutory planning processes
  • Experience in legislative interpretation and implementation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Relationship building and multi-level stakeholder management nationally
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage concurrent complex tasks
  • Strategic planning
  • Strong team orientation
  • Current (or willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check and permit
