Big Bash fans and foodies are in for a treat this summer as the Brisbane Heat collaborate with former Masterchef runner-up, Tessa Boersma, to bring a unique fine dining experience to the Gabba for the first time.
As the Brisbane Heat face off the Hobart Hurricanes on Saturday 8 January, guests at the ticketed ‘Dinner with Tessa Boersma’ event will indulge in a mouth-watering three course menu that incorporates fresh, locally sourced produce and ingredients inspired by native Queensland flavours..
Fusing classic summer tastes with new and eccentric elements, Tessa said she’s excited to offer guests a unique experience that enlivens the tastebuds.
“This is such a fun collaboration, and I can’t wait to spoil guests with three delicious and nutritious dishes that will incorporate unique flavour combinations and ingredients that guests may be trying for the first time,” Tessa said.
“We’ve incorporated fresh Queensland produce in each dish, serving up a Mooloolaba King Prawn cocktail as the entrée, a succulent lamb for the main, which we source from a farm just a couple of hours out of Brisbane, and of course a classic sorbet dessert made with Queensland mangoes.
“The Big Bash has become synonymous with summer and the Brisbane Heat always put on an incredible show. The seated event will be hosted indoors at the Champions Function Room and will offer a complete sensory experience for fans and foodies alike. I can’t think of a better way to spend the last weekend of summer holidays before we all head back to work.”
Limited tickets are on sale now for $250 per head and are available via Ticketek. Guests will enjoy a three-course menu with a three-hour drinks package and the opportunity to mix and mingle with Tessa whilst enjoying a game of non-stop action, big hits, fireworks and entertainment.
