Cricket Netherlands: CTC The Flamingo against MCC at Lord’s

On Thursday 5 May, a team from CTC De Flamingos will play against a strong team from the MCC at Lord’s. The competition is dominated by the “Centenary” of CTC De Flamingos.

The Flamingo’s selection consists of the following players:
Bas de Leede (captain, VCC), Boris Gorlee (HCC), Daan Vierling (Quikc), Govert Trappenburg (Quick), Hidde Overdijk (HCC), Julian de Mey (HBS), Mees van Vliet (ACC), Musa Ahmad (VCC), Philippe Boissevain (VCC), Ratha Alphonse (wicketkeeper, Kampong) Shariz Ahmad (VCC), Victor Lubbers (Salland CC), Vivian Kingma (VCC).
They are supervised by Tim de Leede (coach) and Bart Kuiperi (manager). Scorers are Marik Bijl (Hermes-DVS) and Bart Kroesen (Excelsior’20). Adriaan van den Dries is umpire for this match.

MCC has selected the following players for this match:
Andrew Balbirnie (Captain, Ireland), Joe Barrett (Gloucestershire 2nd XI), Sam Perry (Durham UCCE), Max Tryfonos (Cardiff UCCE), Jonty Jenner (Jersey), Tom Pettet (Harrows CC), Patrick Rowe (Victoria), Tom Rash (Suffolk), Barry McCarthy (Ireland), Zain Shazad (Cambridge MCCU) and Aparajit Khurana (Crouch End CC).

The group will leave for London on Wednesday where training will take place in the afternoon in the Indoor school at Lords.

The match kicks off on Thursday at 10.30am (GMT) and can be followed live stream on the MCC website and live scoring at the KNCB Match Centre.

After the competition, the Flamingo’s company will be welcomed with drinks & dinner in Long Room!
