USA Cricket has hailed a hugely successful Men’s Under 19 National Championships which concluded yesterday with South West Zone being crowned as National Champions after 12 matches between the 6 teams that involved 89 young cricketers from all across America and beyond.

The tournament saw a return of the U19 Men’s National Championships after a year’s hiatus. The tournament was completed successfully thanks to the herculean efforts of Tournament Director Anand Patel, Tournament Manager Anoop Krishna, and USA Cricket staff member Dhruv Barot. The team of match officials and scorers, led by Jermaine Lindo and Mangesh Rane, ensured the action on the field was conducted to the highest standards, whilst team Managers, Coaches and parents were all instrumental in helping create the right environment for the players to express themselves on the field.

There were over 4,000 runs scored, a little under 200 wickets taken and over 100 catches held in a tournament that was keenly contested by all 6 teams.
