Cricket Netherlands: Netherlands A squad announced for T20s against Jersey on July 17

The Netherlands A-selection for two T20’s against Jersey has been announced. National coach Pierce Fletcher has named a 14-strong squad, including players from the national team that recently qualified for the 50-over World Cup in India later this year.

Shariz Ahmad, Noah Croes, Vivian Kingma, Kyle Klein and Michael Levitt join the squad to take on Jersey as they prepare for the ICC European T20 World Cup Qualifiers in Scotland later in July.

Commenting on the squad, Fletcher said: “I’m really happy with the squad for the Jersey T20s. It’s great to have five players from Zimbabwe back in the squad. I look forward to them bringing that energy into our squad.”

The team is led by captain Sebastiaan Braat and includes established values ​​Olivier Elenbaas, Boris Gorlee and Arnav Jain.

Braat on the series: “The opportunity to play more cricket as an A-team team is great. It’s a big challenge to take on Jersey, but one we’re looking forward to as a team.”

The T20 series consists of two games that will be played at VRA Amsterdam on Monday, July 17; the first match at 11:00 AM and the second at 3:00 PM. Admission is free, so everyone is invited to come and see the attractive T20s.
