Sri Lanka National Team players visited the Lady Ridgeway Hospital (LRH) for Children this morning in order to support the ‘Little Hearts Project’ of the hospital.

During the visit, the players visited the cardiology ward and cardio-thoracic ward of the hospital.

The national players, coaches, and team management took part in the visit.

They were accepted by Dr. G. Wijesuriya, Director of the LRH, and Dr. Duminda Samarasinghe, Project Director of the Little Hearts Project.

The players were also briefed by the hospital authorities pertaining to the ongoing work of the ‘Little Hearts Project.’

Sri Lanka Cricket recently donated Rs. 100 million for the ‘Little Hearts Project’ of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children (LRH).

The funds will help build a ‘Cardiac and Critical Care Complex’ at the LRH, which, once built, will help treat children with congenital heart diseases (CHD) and critical illnesses.
