A week after securing their finals berth, the Perth Scorchers will contest the Weber WBBL|09 Challenger final at home after locking in second place in the regular season.

As a result of finishing second, the WACA Ground will now host the Eliminator and Challenger finals on Tuesday 28 November and Wednesday 29 November.

Tuesday’s Eliminator will see Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder play for a spot in Wednesday’s Challenger against the Scorchers.

The winner of the Challenger will then face the Adelaide Strikers in the Final at Adelaide Oval on Saturday 2 December.

Scorchers Members will have access to a two-hour Member pre-sale for Eliminator and Challenger tickets tomorrow, Monday 27 November from 10am before the general public on sale commences at 12pm.

General admission and reserved seating tickets will be $15 for adults, $10 for concession pass holders, $5 for children under 15, and $35 for a family pass of two adults and two children under 15.

All WACA Members will be seated in the Lillee Marsh Stand, with Scorchers Members and the general public able to choose between the South West Pavilion, Players Pavilion, Langers Lounge, and the West and East grass banks when purchasing their tickets.

WACA Members do not need to purchase a finals ticket and can access both matches with their current membership card.

Perth Scorchers General Manager Justin Michael says the WACA Ground is ready to host some electric finals action.

“We have put ourselves in a great position to be able to host two finals at home in Perth, and we encourage all Scorchers fans and Members to get to the WACA Ground to support the team,” he said.

“The Eliminator on Tuesday promises to be a thrilling contest between the Heat and Thunder before the Scorchers take to the turf on Wednesday.

“Finals is always an exciting time and we’re looking forward to seeing how far our Scorchers can go.”
