Chair of Country Cricket, Paul Marjoribanks, said:

“We are honoured to be able to host this prestigious competition in Newcastle.

“This is the highest level that any regional cricket can aspire to, and I am sure that we will see some keenly contested matches being played on the superb facilities in the region.

“We are most appreciative of the support of the volunteers of many clubs in Newcastle and of course Newcastle City Council, without which, competitions such as this cannot be held.

“Naturally, I will be closely following the fortunes of the Bush Blues and Bush Breakers, however, I wish all teams the best of luck for the Championships.”

Matches will be live-streamed with links provided daily on the Country Cricket Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CCNSW
