Global asset management and disposition company Ritchie Bros. has extended its relationship with the Melbourne Stars for a further year.

Ritchie Bros. joined the Stars ahead of the KFC BBL|10 season and will be the club’s Platinum Partner across both the WBBL and BBL squads, appearing on the sleeve of the club’s media polo and training apparel.

The company will also carry branding exclusivity on the NT Strike League uniforms worn by Cricket Victoria’s Stars Academy players in addition to a range of digital integrations.

Ritchie Bros. offers customers end-to-end solutions for buying and selling used heavy equipment, trucks and other assets.

Each month the company helps thousands of customers worldwide appraise, sell, inspect, buy, refurbish, ship and finance heavy equipment, trucks, and other assets.

Ritchie Bros. Director of Marketing – APAC David Fanning said “We are thrilled to be an official sponsor of the Melbourne Stars for the second year running.”

“Cricket is an iconic Aussie tradition synonymous with fun, family, and summer and we at Ritchie Bros. are delighted to show our love of the sport in this way.”

“We are a proud partner and look forward to cheering on the Stars throughout the season,” Mr Fanning added.

Melbourne Stars Interim General Manager Blair Crouch welcomed Ritchie Bros. commitment to the club.

“This is great news for the club. Ritchie Bros. joined us on the eve of last season – one that came with many challenges. Their support through that period and ongoing commitment to the partnership is something we’re looking to build on this year,” Crouch said.

“As a company with a global footprint, Ritchie Bros. understands the outstanding opportunities the WBBL and BBL present and we look forward to working together to deliver great outcomes for their business and our club.”
