Balochistan U19 Whites’ Mohammad Siddique has been fined 30 per cent of his match-fee for breaching the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Players Support Personnel during his side’s third round match against Sindh U19 Whites in the National U19 Championship  match played at the UBL Sports Complex, Karachi.

Siddique was found to have violated Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct, which reads as: “Showing dissent at an Umpire’s decision during a Match”.

The incident happened when Siddique, after being declared lbw showed his bat to the umpire and expressed his disappointment at the decision.

After the day’s play, Siddique pleaded guilty to the charge and accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Fazal-e-Akbar. The charge was levelled by on-field umpires Rafiq Ahmed and Rana Arshad.
