Long-time Melbourne Renegades partner Suzuki has recommitted to the club for a further season.

The leading automotive company will remain the Official Vehicle Partner and Coaches Partner across both the WBBL and BBL teams.

“Suzuki Australia is very excited to continue our strong partnership with the Melbourne Renegades,” Suzuki Australia General Manager – Automobile, Mr. Michael Pachota said.

“Working closely with the team over the last few years, we have built a solid connection with staff and players, admiring the professionalism that the Melbourne Renegades represent for their supporters and the Big Bash League overall; a respected squad that is an inspiration for any young aspiring cricketer in Australia.”

The WBBL season will begin on October 25 and be played entirely in Sydney with the league committed to a full 59-game schedule.

The BBL is set to commence later this year.

Renegades General Manager David Lever said the club’s partnership with Suzuki had delivered strong benefits for both organisations.

“Suzuki and the Melbourne Renegades have had an excellent partnership over many years now and we’re delighted the partnership will continue despite the obvious challenges the current environment presents,” Lever said.

“Suzuki’s loyalty during a time of such uncertainty across the globe speaks volumes for the strength of their brand and we’re proud to stand alongside them as our club continues to grow.

“The Big Bash offers strong returns for partners with our TV audiences leading the way for team sport in Australia and a level of fan engagement that is the envy of many.”

The Melbourne Renegades invite expressions of interest in additional major partnership opportunities for this season and will make further partnership announcements shortly.
