Afghanistan Cricket Board to stage T10 matches across five regions for Independence Day

The ACB will hold matches in Kabul and four other regions on August 15–16, with free admission and the capital’s Independence Day game broadcast live.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board is set to organize a series of T10 cricket matches across five regions of the country, including the capital, Kabul, to celebrate Afghanistan’s Independence Day on August 15.

The first match will take place this Friday at the Kabul International Cricket Stadium, featuring teams named the Independence Heroes and the Unity Heroes. This match will be broadcast live.

On Saturday, additional matches will be held in four other regions, Bost, Mis-e-Ainak, Amo, and Speenghar. Cricket fans are invited to attend the matches at their respective venues, where players from different regions will compete in two teams.

The T10 match in Kabul is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM. Following this, matches will be held on Saturday in Khost, Nangarhar, Kunduz, and Kandahar provinces, showcasing the top players from those provinces.

The Independence Day match in Kabul will be broadcast live on RTA Sports TV and the Afghanistan Cricket Board’s YouTube channel. Additionally, cricket fans can attend the match at the stadium free of charge.
