Australia’s 2026 South Africa tour schedule confirmed with ODI-Test double-header and WTC final rematch narrative

Three ODIs, a Potchefstroom warm-up and a three-Test series at Kingsmead, St George’s Park and Newlands headline a blockbuster September–October tour between the recent World Test Championship finalists.

Cricket South Africa has released the schedule for the Australian tour of South Africa in September/October this year.

The tour includes a three match One Day International series and a three Test series preceded by a two-day warmup match in Potchefstroom. 

AUSTRALIA MEN’S TOUR OF SOUTH AFRICA 2026

ODI Series 

First ODI: September 24, Kingsmead Stadium, Durban 

Second ODI: September 27, Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg 

Third ODI: September 30, JB Marks Oval, Potchefstroom (D/N)

Warmup Match 

October 3-4, JF Marks Oval, Potchefstroom

Test Series 

First Test: October 9-13, Kingsmead Stadium, Durban 

Second Test: October 18-22, St George’s Park, Gqeberha 

Third Test: October 27-31, Newlands Cricket Ground, Cape Town

The Australian tour of South Africa will be shown live on Kayo Sports and Foxtel.
