The Board Committee has found Willemijn Vorderman-Jansen willing to take over the role of secretary in the board of the KNCB from Robert Vermeulen.
Willemijn (43) is currently secretary at CTC de Flamingos – she will complete this this summer – and has been playing cricket at Groen-Geel since 2004. She has a legal background, previously chaired the De Haagse Spot Foundation and, through her experience with De Flamingos and Groen-Geel, she has common ground with top and recreational cricket, for women, men and youth.
In the coming months she will be introduced to the new board by the current secretary Robert Vermeulen, after which she will be nominated for this role at the next GMM.
