England all-rounder Liam Livingstone has secured a sponsorship deal with Balqis Capital, a global leader in private market credit. The 31-year-old’s bat will feature the company’s logo under a newly announced 24-month agreement.

The sponsorship was revealed shortly after Livingstone was purchased by Royal Challengers Bengaluru for ₹8.75 crore in the IPL 2025 mega-auction on November 25. This made him the 10th most expensive player in the auction, following a fierce bidding battle with Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Aaron Lilley, Global Sales Director at Balqis Capital, commented, “We are excited and extremely proud to be collaborating with such a global cricketing superstar. At Balqis, we have a huge passion for sport and are excited to support Liam with this sponsorship deal.”

Currently ranked as the number one ICC IT20 all-rounder, Livingstone has previously endorsed the SG Ultimate Cricket Bat. He plays for Lancashire, Birmingham Phoenix, and Pretoria Capitals in South Africa.

In October 2024, he captained England during the one-day international series against the West Indies. As stand-in captain, he led the team to a five-wicket victory, setting up a decider in the three-match series.

Lilley highlighted Balqis Capital’s commitment to partnering with athletes, stating, “This also includes working with them on what we do best – sourcing private credit projects. We have worked with several athletes as clients over the years, specializing in working with advisers and high-net-worth individuals, so it seems the perfect synergy.”

Private credit provides businesses and individuals with quicker access to capital and customized loan terms, offering attractive yields in low-interest-rate environments. Balqis Capital, with over 20 years of financial services experience, has raised more than £40 million across various projects, ensuring capital preservation throughout.
