The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York is in its final stages of development as the latest timelapse reveals the world class 34,000 seater stadium with the completion of the playing surface area.

The four drop in pitches cultivated with native Tahoma 31 Bermuda grass, have been meticulously nurtured in Florida by Adelaide Oval Turf Solutions and US-based sports turf experts LandTek Group and have now been installed following the 1000 mile journey thanks to the support of the ICC’s Official Global Logistics Partner DP World.

The transformation of the site in Eisenhower Park over the past four months is hugely impressive, from a grass field to world-class cricket stadium. The north and south premium hospitality and media pavilions structures are on track for imminent completion including a spectacular viewing and fan experience coupled with world class hospitality for all guests. The latest edition are the Cabana seats in the north pavilion along with the Corner Club seats with a private party area displaying a truly American experience.

We are now only a few weeks away until the first historic first match takes place at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium between 2014 champions Sri Lanka and South Africa on 3 June which is an opportunity not to be missed with limited general admission tickets available.
