Featuring ten state or city-based franchises, it is the most popular cricket league globally. The tournament runs for two months, from March to May, with an exclusive window in the ICC Future Tours Programme.

Rahul Tripathi, the Kolkata Knight Riders batsman, has been reprimanded for breaching the Dream11 Indian Premier League’s (IPL) Code of Conduct during his team’s match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Abu Dhabi.

Mr Tripathi admitted to the Level 1 offence 2.3 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct.

For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding.
