Rain forced the abandonment of the first match of the Ireland v Scotland women’s T20 series today – with both teams agreeing to reschedule the match to Tuesday. A further change has also been made to maximise playing time in the Series, with tomorrow’s match now starting at 11am.
Tuesday 25 May was initially set aside as a Reserve Day – this will now be activated and become a playing day.
The series’ fixtures now stand as follows:
• 24 May 2021: Ireland Women v Scotland Women – 1st T20I (Stormont, starting 11am)
• 25 May 2021: Ireland Women v Scotland Women – 2nd T20I (Stormont, starting 1pm)
• 26 May 2021: Ireland Women v Scotland Women – 3rd T20I (Stormont, starting 1pm)
• 27 May 2021: Ireland Women v Scotland Women – 4th T20I (Stormont, starting 11am)
The matches will be livestreamed and livescored via the Cricket Ireland match centre.
SPECTATORS
Spectators will be permitted to attend the remaining matches of the series. Gates open 45 minutes before play each day.
The entry fee is £3, with all revenue raised from entry fees going to support the work of The Hope Foundation – Cricket Ireland’s official charity partner. For spectators, a number of COVID-19 guidelines will be in place, including hygiene stations and a track & trace system.
