The Brisbane Heat will turn up the energy, literally, in the new year.

To further pump up fans for the BBL day clash against Perth Scorchers on Wednesday, January 19, the Heat will welcome acclaimed dance duo Stace Cadet & KLP to the Great Southern Bank House Party stage for live performances, both during and after the game.

The January 19 Gabba game will also be a kids-go-free affair.

Stace Cadet & KLP (Kristy Lee Peters) teamed for the hit song Energy in 2020. It was one of the biggest tracks of the year, nominated for Best Dance Release at the 2020 ARIA Awards and voted No.21 in Triple J’s Hottest 100.

“Both our tracks are all about bringing good vibes and bringing people together, and we can’t wait to do just that at the Gabba BBL game,” the duo said.

Following on from the success of Energy, KLP and Stace Cadet again joined forces for People Happy. Their infectious brand of electronic pop and dance music is sure to have the crowd jumping.

KLP is a Sydney-based performer, songwriter, DJ, producer and broadcaster who has collaborated with some of music’s biggest and freshest names. A previous host of Triple J’s House Party, she has lit up events such as Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Party in the Paddock, Field Day and Big Pineapple Festival.

Stace Cadet is an Adelaide-based producer, DJ and vocalist renowned for his upbeat, joyous brand of dance music.

Brisbane Heat Commercial and Marketing Manager, Pete Lock, said the January 19 game would be a huge end-of-school holiday celebration.

“Having Stace Cadet & KLP perform will create the perfect vibe for our older and younger fans alike.

“A Brisbane Heat game is all about fun, music and energy, so what better way to enjoy a summer day out than with some great beats, plenty of sixes, free tickets for kids and good times with friends and family.”

The entertainment from Stace Cadet & KLP follows previous live performances at Heat games from the likes of Busby Marou and dance act Mashd N Kutcher.
