Bio
Sameen Rana, along with his brothers Atif Rana (CEO) and Fawad Rana (Chairman), is part of the leadership team of the Lahore Qalandars.
He was appointed as Chief Operating Officer in June 2016, soon after Fawad Rana’s Qatar Lubricants Company purchased the franchise. Sameen Rana brings a history of operational and financial management to the organization.
Previously, Sameen Rana was Manager, Commercial Finance at General Electric based in Boston, Massachusetts, where he continued working for 2 years. Rana also served at GE as a Senior Regional Finance Manager at General Electric International Inc where he dealt with all finance related activities in the Middle Eastern and African region.
Some other of his additional roles include: being Senior Management Accountant at Schlumberger Overseas S.A, Senior Management Consultant at Hameed Majeed Associates and ERP System Deployment Manager at Schlumberger Technical Services.
Rana holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, which he received in 1994 from the University of Punjab.
