Haier Pakistan continues its partnership with Peshawar Zalmi for PSL Season 8

MOU signed between Haier Pakistan and Peshawar Zalmi for PSL Season 8 scheduled to kick off in February 2023. 

Haier Pakistan is yet again set to be the Main Title Sponsor of Peshawar Zalmi for the 8th Season of HBL PSL, following the MOU signing ceremony at the Haier Brand Seminar that took place on the 4th of January in Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore. Haier Pakistan and Peshawar Zalmi enter their 6th year of partnership and this deals stands out to be one of the most impactful sports marketing deals in the country.

Mr Inzamam Ul Haq, President Peshawar Zalmi and Mr Feng Xianfa , CEO Haier Pakistan signed the MOU. The occasion was also graced by the presence of Mr Nausherwan Effandi, CCO Peshawar Zalmi, Mr Humayon Bashir, Director Marketing Haier and Mr. Sohaib Rathore, Director Sales.

Mr Inzamam Ul Haq presented signed shirts to Haier Management including Mr Feng, Mr Humayon and Mr Sohaib as a souvenir of the partnership at the event of Peshawar Zalmi and Haier MoU signing Ceremony.

The eight season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set kick off next month in February .Cricket fans wait impatiently for PSL, an annual tournament that takes place in February and March and gives them the chance to see their favourite cricket stars in action.

Fans of Peshawar Zalmi have another reason to celebrate the major sporting event as Haier Pakistan has retained its partnership with Peshawar Zalmi as the main title sponsor for the eight edition of the PSL. As one of the largest home appliances’ manufacturers in Pakistan as well as globally, Haier has played an integral part in the promotion of sports in the country through its partnership with Peshawar Zalmi. 

Mr. Nausherwan Effandi, CCO Peshawar Zalmi was ecstatic at the occasion and commented, “Haier has been a major player in the Pakistani sports industry through its affiliation with Pakistan Cricket and now Peshawar Zalmi over the years. Haier enables us to maintain our efforts dedicated towards social responsibility, which supports numerous athletes and provides them with opportunities to come forward and show their skillset. We are excited about the times ahead and we will continue playing our part in promoting cricket and bringing forward young talent in the country.’’

Haier and Peshawar Zalmi share synergy and alignment in their missions towards supporting sports in Pakistan and furbishing its focal stakeholders. The two together have been a part of a set of impactful philanthropic activities such as Haier 100 Pitches where cricket pitches were formed on war torn land as a gesture of instigating and reviving the sentiment of sports in areas affected by terrorism. Kaliwal Cricket Tournament and The Madrassa League is another facet of the efforts around social responsibility that the two put together to revive the puritanical social fabric of Pakistan. Not only that, by lending their support to Pakistan Hockey Team in the World Cup earlier, the brand has opened the way for the national game which shows Haier’s vision of promoting sports in the country. 

Haier has vowed to continue supporting efforts to promote sports and athletes who deserve recognition, just as PSL continues to win hearts and excite cricket fans all around the world. Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi launched its Kits for PSL season 8 through a video featuring Zalmi Captain Babar Azam wearing the playing, alternate and training kits in a fashion never seen before. With PSL 8 just around the corner, Peshawar Zalmi has planned another season full of entertainment for its fans.
