The Melbourne Stars have completed the signings of two highly talented Victorian youngsters, Olivia Henry and Milly Illingworth.

The Melbourne Stars have completed the signings of two highly talented Victorian youngsters, Olivia Henry and Milly Illingworth.

Henry returns to the Stars after being a part of the squad in WBBL|08 and making her debut against the Heat last season. 

A stylish right-handed batter, the Prahran product has added to her game, developing her off spin and recently took 3-5 against the Renegades Academy.

Illingworth is one of the most exciting talents in Australian cricket, having represented Australia at the Under 19’s World Cup in South Africa earlier this year.

The 18-year-old quick is known for her raw pace and energy in the field. 

General Manager Blair Crouch was thrilled to welcome two of Victoria’s brightest talents to the Stars squad.

“I’m rapt to see Olivia and Milly commit to the Stars ahead of this year’s WBBL. 

“The experience they will both gain from being a part of the squad will be invaluable and we believe they can play important roles for the Stars, not only this year but well into the future.”
