PURPOSE

This role will provide essential insights to our players and coaches on a pre Christmas Young Lions tour to India and the 2024 U19s World Cup in January/February 2024.

The successful consultant analyst must have the technical skills required (use of PCS pro, Dartfish, ECB Depth App, iHawk etc) to capture vital performance data for the Young Lions coaches and players in the playing and coaching environment. Travel on the tours will be part of the roles in November 2023 and January/February 2024.

This role is a set number of 68 consultancy working days from late October 2023 through to February 2024.

YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Working with the Lead Pathway Performance Analyst to deliver pre series information to coaches and players
  • Provide real-time coaching and practice feedback (data and video) during the tour, particularly in the training environment
  • Setting up IP cameras and coding the matches
  • Provide in game trends and analysis to coaches during Youth ODIs
  • Working with the Lead Pathway Performance Analyst to deliver post match and tour feedback to coaches and players
  • Working with the Lead Pathway Performance Analyst to track the progress of individual players

YOU’LL HAVE

  • An Undergraduate/Masters degree in related subject
  • Experience of providing cricket analyses to elite players (including use of PCS pro)
  • Ability to be nimble, collaborative, impactful and a team player in a high-performance sporting environment
