As any cricketer will tell you, one of the rare moments of respite in a match is the lunch period. That is a crucial period in the match, as a satisfying REAL meal can go a long way towards turning things around.

Thus, there is plenty of excitement in the Titans Cricket fraternity, with the news that the widely popular Steers burger franchise has become the official restaurant of Titans Cricket.

Steers South Africa is the takeaway restaurant of choice for REAL flame-grilled burgers, chicken, ribs and hand-cut chips. Their ridiculously thick milkshakes are also a massive hit. Steers South Africa will be sponsoring the team with meals, and will also provide for schools and clubs that fall under the Titans cricket umbrella.

The Titans family, meanwhile, are relishing the prospect to Savour The REAL flame-grilled flavour.

“Regardless of the level you play, lunch is always something to look forward to!,” Titans Cricket CEO Dr Jacques Faul said.

“This partnership with Steers has definitely gone down as a hit with players, because Steers have always delivered on fantastic taste, quality and consistency for as long as they have been around. Those are hallmarks we identify strongly with.”

The decision at toss time in the coming season has just become a little more interesting, as captains may now have to consider whether batting or bowling with a happy stomach is the best choice for their team!
