ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting time for a Senior Commercial Sales Manager, to join our Broadcast and Commercial team. We’re looking for someone to provide strong leadership of the Commercial Sales team and contribute to the success of Cricket Australia’s Commercial program by driving sponsorship revenue growth. We have big ambitions for this space, so we’re looking for drive, passion, and energy to bring our plans to life.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial you’ll be responsible to:
– Lead, motivate and guide the Commercial Sales Team’s efforts to execute the Commercial strategy, achieve budgeted revenue targets and to sell all available assets across the Commercial program.
– Support the Head of Commercial to establish a world class sales function that implements best practice sales techniques, processes and frameworks and delivers through a high-performing sales team.
– Work collaboratively with the business in the design and creation of new products and services to drive growth.
– Drive staff engagement across the Commercial team to develop a sales team culture and mindset.
– Manage a high performing, motivated team that is focused on planning and delivering on their goal plans and targets.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
– 10+ years of sales and new business experience from lead to close
– Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or Legal
– Sharp commercial mindset
– Exceptional commercial negotiation skills with a strong focus on attention to detail
– Ability to build and interpret research data and insights, to build meaningful pitches to win new business
– Comfortable with presenting to large audiences and collaborating with executive leadership
– Strong stakeholder relationships and comfortable having courageous conversations
