Find out what we’ll be celebrating at each home game across the Weber WBBL|09 season.
With five WBBL home games coming up at the WACA Ground, the Perth Scorchers are making every match count by providing immersive themed experiences for each game.
Our first home game on October 25 will be our Community Match which celebrates our grassroots community including clubs, volunteers, coaches, umpires, participants and more.
Next up is our Halloween Match on October 31, so grab your costume and celebrate Halloween in a safe space. Get some spooky face paint or an airbrush tattoo from our Fan Zone and complete our Halloween activity sheet to redeem some free merch while stocks last.
We’re super excited about our home double header for Woolworths Cricket Blast Round, and on November 3 we’ll be embracing playing under the Friday Night Lights with a WBBL-first fireworks and lightshow during the innings break.
Then, on November 5 it’s our Aboriginal Match and we encourage all fans to don their Aboriginal kit and join us to celebrate country and culture. This game incorporates WA Cricket’s Kambarang Cricket Carnival where Aboriginal teams from across the state will converge on the WACA Ground to be part of the pre-game barefoot circle with the players.
The WACA Ground will host four games on November 3 and 5 as part of the Woolworths Cricket Blast Round. Two of those games are Scorchers home games, with the other two games featuring the Adelaide Strikers, Melbourne Renegades, and Sydney Sixers. As part of the Round, we will have a special Blaster Zone filled with engaging activities across both days.
Finally, it’s our Pride Match on November 22 where we’ll ignite pride with the Scorchers as we celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, so wear your brightest rainbow colours and cheer on your Scorchers for the final home game of the season.
