Tickets on sale for Thunder’s first game at Sydney Showground Stadium

Sydney Thunder captain Callum Ferguson is looking forward to seeing a sea of green when his side returns to Sydney Showground Stadium for the first time this season on Thursday.

After a strong start to BBL|09 including two huge wins on the road, Thunder are set to take on the Melbourne Stars at home on Thursday 2 January (3:40pm start).

“We love playing out at Sydney Showground Stadium. Our fans are the best in the country,” Ferguson said.

“Just to see the smiling fans wearing green will be fantastic, they get down and support us really well and our team thrives off that energy.

“We’re desperately keen to get back out in front of our fans on our home deck.”

Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance to save $5 on match day prices. Kids tickets start from $5, with adults from $20.
