The Melbourne Renegades will now play an extra BBL|11 match on their home turf, with Cricket Australia today announcing the five remaining matches scheduled to be played in Perth have been relocated.

It will see the Renegades now take on the Perth Scorchers on Boxing Day at Marvel Stadium, at 9.15pm AEDT.

The match had previously been fixtured for Optus Stadium in Perth, and will remain a Scorchers home game.

No change has been made to the start time of the game, which will be playing following the opening day of the Boxing Day Test at the MCG and a BBL|11 match between the Sydney Thunder and Sydney Sixers (6.05pm AEDT start).

The match will be broadcast live on Channel 7, Fox Cricket and Kayo, with a radio broadcast on SEN 1116.

Tickets to the match will go on sale on Friday 17 December at 2pm AEDT.

The decision to relocate all five BBL|11 matches was made by Cricket Australia due to state border controls and how they apply to entry into Western Australia, which means playing the matches at Optus Stadium was not possible.

All teams would have travelled through New South Wales or Victoria within 14 days prior to the matches and would have been unable to enter Western Australia due to their classification as extreme risk jurisdictions.
